Meet the Experts
Dr. Leyla Acaroglu created Circular Futures in 2021 after a decade of running The UnSchool and Disrupt Design. Having worked with more than 150 organizations globally, Leyla is internationally known for advancing circular design, systems thinking and sustainability and was named Champion of the Earth by the United Nations Environment Programme in 2016 for her work.
Award-winning designer Emma Segal has over two decades of experience designing and producing local and international manufactured consumer goods. She holds a Master’s degree in sustainable design and is a PhD candidate exploring the cross-sectional impact of corporate and government sustainable product policy within design departments.
